COEN operates in one of Australia’s most rapidly competitive product categories. Between 2021 and 2023, competitors in composite timber grew from 15 to 167 — more than a tenfold increase in two and a half years. This year, a broader construction downturn saw sector revenue contract by approximately 20% under intensified pricing pressure.
